"Terrible breakfast. There is no breakfast buffet, their online description is highly deceptive and misleading. There was some lukewarm coffee, a few dry bagels, muffins and toast. No eggs, no links, no bacon… nothing warm. Then the manager had the audacity to tell me that I didn’t even qualify for any breakfast since I didn’t book directly with the hotel. "Exceptionally clean! Overall ambiance is very charming for a quaint and comfortable getaway. Housekeeping and front desk staff are friendly and ready to help guests. Restaurant food was excellent; service/ dining experience not quite up to par. "

"Our room was very clean. Decor is mountain cabin rustic. Bathroom was very modern. One problem. Our room had a window on the door and the outside lights were too bright for sleeping. We had to cover the window with a towel. To that effect, I will say that the outside area is very well lit and we felt secure. The grounds were a bit dirty. "I’ve stayed here several times when visiting App State. The beds are firm, and incredibly comfortable! I sleep like a baby every time I stay there. Very friendly staff. It has a really nice outdoor area for relaxing and enjoying the Boone weather. I will definitely stay there again!"
