"We enjoyed our recent mini get away for a birthday treat. This was our first visit to The Gwbert Hotel. Quick and easy check in as it was done online before arrival. Lovely room with a sea view, which was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee was well stocked with an added coffee maker. There was a small fridge in the room with bottled water too. "Spotlessly clean room. Friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Bed extremely comfortable, Breakfast very good choice and tasty. If we have one criticism it’s that the room was small and the bathroom large but we understand the hosts will be rectifying that."

"We received a warm welcome from Cam. Our room was clean and our bed incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was pure delicious perfection. My wife had pulled a muscle in her back and stayed working in the lounge area. Cam made sure that my wife had a hot water bottle, to keep the injured muscle comforted, and pots of tea to keep her going. It is obvious that Cam goes the extra mile for all her guests. "Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted. Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us. Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained....

"Properly was nice and central to the town. Activities in walking and driving distance. Only downside is they dont want dogs upstairs but do not provide a gate on the stairs. Having to make a makeshift block not easy."

"We stayed for four nights. The very nice lady that owns the cottage, Nesta, had made cake for out arrival. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, downstairs a shower. Kitchen was very well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and there was a utility room with a freezer and washing machine.
