"There is no shortage of "Pousada's", or bed and breakfasts, in the Urubici area. It seems to be the main cottage industry (pun kind of intended). This was a great place though, off the beaten track so it was very quiet and private. However, it was still just a few minutes from the main road and a great launching point for local attractions.
The cabins themselves are very cute, comfortable, and well maintained. The common area was equally welcoming, in good repair, and clean.

"Great and delicious breakfast, very filling. Mãe was very nice, friendly and welcoming. Nice and clean room. Nice view. Delicious complementary hot chocolate. But the shower was bad. It was either freezing cold water or boiling hot water. No in between. The temperature of the water couldn't be set. "

"A estadia foi incrível, o chalé é maravilhoso… lindooo, limpo, confortável, a vista é fantástica, um pouco longe do centro da cidade mas que não desabonou em nada nossa estadia, como estávamos de carro… quando voltávamos a noite já trazíamos as coisas do mercado para nosso café da manhã e não saíamos mais!!! "We spent seven days at Cabanas Araxá and had an amazing time in the mountains, surrounded by peaceful nature. Our experience was made even better by the exceptional hospitality of Gisele, who welcomed us warmly and ensured we had everything we needed.
