"This is an ok place to get away for 2 days or so, anymore than that and you get bored quick. The place is clean, and the staff was friendly. The Tuklo restaurant has a small menu but everything we had there was good and fairly priced considering the environment. The Hochatown area is ok, if you are a camper, a woodsy person, going hiking or any of that then you'll likely love it. The food in the area is kinda just there, nothing is excellent, the Hochatown Saloon is terrible don t go there....

"I had a wonderful stay at the Charles Wesley Motor Lodge! The owners were super nice and welcoming from the moment I arrived. My room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials, a TV, mini fridge, and an ice machine right on site. I really appreciated the well-lit parking lot, which made coming and going feel very safe at night. Plus, the property is beautifully maintained with gorgeous plants all around. When we arrived, the hotel claimed they couldn’t find our room reservation, even though we had proof from Expedia that the room had been booked and paid for, along with our confirmation and receipts. Instead of honoring our reservation or working to resolve the issue, they told us we had to purchase another room. "Perfect stay at this little gem. IT's not the Taj Mahal, but it's very clean, comfortable, convenient and quiet. There is a bar/grill restaurant on site that really makes meal convenient. The rooms are clean and tiled (No hotel carpet crud) but the TV in my kitchen at home is bigger than the one on the wall, but I wasn't here to watch TV. The staff was lovely with a bit of southern charm. Highly recommend."

The only problem we had was a smoke detector going off very early in the morning. Called the front desk but they did not have any batteries to put in it. We had to entirely unplug it from the ceiling."
