Excellent decor and fittings. Very comfortable rooms which were spacious and modern. Staff were super helpful in finding us a nearby gym to use when the hotels gym was out of order.

Arrived after a long drive so were thrilled to see this beautiful hotel tucked away from the main road. The staff were brilliant and the rooms amazing. We had log fires burring in our rooms ech night. restaurant was fantastic. Liked it all so much we stayed an extra night. would recommend it to everyone.

Helpful staff although disappointed there was not a whole bunch of drinks from the menu

A person who likes a spotless, modern facility will not find this to their liking. We are antique buffs, and to live in a 50 year-old stone house with the main rooms on the planta baca and the sleeping rooms above. as would have been the custom in the old days, was a delight. We received a warm welcome at La Danesa from everyone we met during our stay, the staff are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are superb, beautifully furnished with teak wood and wonderful textiles that compliment the very tasteful decor. We described it as Scandinavian style with Ecuadorean warmth.
