True to its listing the property was very convienient to the train station (for access to day trips) and a short walk to the Piazza Maggiore- centrally located for a good taste of Bologna- A few observations-the only place to sit/ relax in this room is the bed or a kitchen table- would have been nice to have a couch or oversized chair as an option- We originally tried to stay at the hotel attached to this property but the hotel was fully booked- this room does not have any outside windows- the “windows” in the room open up to the upper courtyard of the hotel- this is somewhat quirky as one cannot leave the windows open at all due to privacy issues- we do recommend this property for its location and its overall basic amenities- we did lose power for approximately 14 hours but this was due to outside construction and not the hotel- we contacted the property management and although we figured out what happened first, they did reply and indicated the issue was street maintanence-
