Emerald Beach Resort

"This property was ok . Upon check in the gals at the front desk were nice, we asked for an early check in and a room with a view and were able to get an early check in. The room unfortunately was behind a huge tree with minimal view of the ocean. I went down to ask for a room move with a view and was asked to come back later. We just ended up keeping this room because we were ready to hit the beach. Beautiful view and lime out accessible from their taco taxi. The shower was great. One major reason I would never stay here again is because we got very little sleep, the beds are horribly hard and pillows flat and roosters crow all night long. Other properties did not experience this. Also too far away from shops."

"Hmmm, I expected a Jimmy Buffet type of lobby , was NOT ! Food was not it at all , they did drop other towels faster than I expected and the rooms had no drain issue etc so that was good ,"

"The view is why you should stay here. The pool and bar are great, lounge chairs need repair. Convenient access to old town. The restaurant is very good but pricey, Sibs up the road is a grea local bar and restaurant. There is NO sign to tell you where to turn to get to hotel. Three stars is a good position for this hotel. Finally, I would NOT return to St. Thomas. There are a lot to see and do but driving the roads wear you out getting there. Go to St. John or St. Croix instead."

"I had a great stay in the villa room! The room was, big, clean and nice. Water temp and pressure was great. Wonderful views and privacy! I did not like having to pass the cat family everyday but no biggie, they were chill. All around great experience and I will be booking again!"

"Room was clean and comfortable. Would have liked a microwave in the room and coffee available in the lobby. The sitting area was nice unless there was a boat nearby that gave a diesel smell. Cruise ships did not dock in front of the hotel but further down the dock, so our view was not blocked. Hotel is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the sky-tram which was nice."

"The staff members, especially Asha were excellent. The setting was excellent. The view from our unit was beyond beautiful. The unit was well decorated (a bit dated but very nice). The adjacent restaraunt is very good, not a large menu but the food was very well prepared. The only negative was the location. Without a car you don't have access to anything else. If you are looking for a place to chill on the beach and eat in a nice restaraunt this just might be the place. We will go back."
