"It’s a very unusual location for a hotel which is quite distant on a hill with shuttle service provided to local venues and restaurants. It’s not an ideal hotel for elderly or guests with mobility issues as the rooms are high and with long flight of stairs. There two swimming pools the largest quite far to get to and with no staff. The rooms are traditional Javanese Joglos which can be quite charming for photos but very dark inside as one cannot open the windows owing the heat from outside , so...

"Staff was well trained, attentive and helpful in all areas. The property was well maintained. The villas were beautiful inside and out. The pool by the central or main building was not useful given close proximity to restaurant. The second pool was better placed. Overall, the location, staff, and property was as advertised. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Everything is good very clean .good service.nice view also delicious food"

"Absolutely loved this place! So beautiful and not far from the temple. Would suggest a tuktuk rather than walking though as even in the morning it's pretty hot. Aside from the need for air con, cannot fault this place at all. One of our favourite hotels so far on our trip!"

"Excellent service from reception, restaurants and spa."

"A modest place conveniently located. "

"Very nice hotel!!:) Clean and comfortable😁✨"

"La base perfecta en Borobudur. Tranquilo, bonito, con buena comida y bebida... y ademas con un anfitrión lleno de historias interesantes! Nos encantó el tour en bicicleta! Cuidado que las cosas han cambiado para acceder al templo y hay que sacar las entradas online con antelación!"

"Nice boutique hotel with extra friendly staff and great regional home cooked menu. Right in the go area of Borobudor "

"Very dusty rooms/Floor. Hair on the blanket. No AC, called and was told that it will be cool at night, but it was hot. A lot of Mosquitos. Advertised on hotels.com with free minibar, Nothing. No welcome drink, given the next morning after asked. May be due to almost midnight arrival. Vegetable side on breakfast plate was spoiled. For the price range, not worth it. Pro : free bicycle. Hotwater for shower. Cute little garden in the back. Great homemade tea."

"Excellent place nice and convenient walk 2 to 5 min to shops and food outlets, 5 min walk to main street and 30 min walk or 5 min drive to Borrobodur temple, homestay mum are the best, gave us discount for the rooms and provided tea, coffee suger and snacks, fruits on the first day that lasted a week of our stay. Invited us for dinner lunch and a few nasi goreng breakfast meals in the morning which is the best."

"Clean room nice surroundings"

"If you want to explore Central Java's way of life, here you have a wonderful chance. Small bungalows, cozy environment and rural life. The family that manages the hotel can provide you transports to Borobudur temple and wherever you want. I recommend you the sunrise at the hill Punthuk Setumbu as much as temple's visit. Don't expect a luxury way of life, just the experience of a real javanese daily life. A translator or guide, if you don't speak indonesian bahasa, is totally needed. Highly...
