"Lovely stay in Alghero despite the heat wave. Davide is a wonderful host - as a native of the area who clearly has refined taste, he had impeccable tips, so we ate and drank at wonderful places.
We especially liked gioia for coffee and light breakfast, Aragon for a wonderful set lunch, sa mandra (you must book way ahead), the lovely nearby prosciutteria, the beach bar for amazing views and drinks. Actually every place we went was great - all Davide's recommendations.
