"Die Zimmer (wie auch das Hotel) waren sauber, das Personal hilfsbereit. Die Snacks (Burger) der Bar lecker und das Frühstück sehr gut. Man sollte nur bedenken, das dieses Gebäude fast eine Antiquität ist. Und das spürt man im positiven wie negativen. Wer genau dieses, zu Schottland passende, Ambiente sucht, wird hier fündig.
Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Die einsame Lage lädt zum Wandern ein. Für einen Besuch der Breamar Games gut gelegen (ca. 40min. Anfahrt)."
"Old hotel with character, a welcoming reception area and updated rooms. There is no elevator but we were prepared for that and our room was only up one level. The food in the bar was delicious."
"The hotel is beautiful and the amenities such as the pool, workout room, etc. are excellent. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the finer dining restaurant. The service was great at check in, check out and the restaurant.
Our room was extremely spacious and very nice. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the sitting area very nice.
The big negative is there is no air conditioning. I guess I should have assumed this since the building is so old but we have stayed at older places that...
