"This was my first stay at this hotel but will not be my last. Our room was clean bed was comfortable. The bathroom appeared updated. I didnt try the breakfast so I can't speak on that. My only concern was my room smelled slightly like cigarette smoke even though whole location is no smoking in rooms. Otherwise this was a nice stay"

"The room was nice and convenient. There is no elevator so you will need to request a handicap room if you don’t want to do stairs. The breakfast was more like snacks instead of having a nice hot breakfast. Overall I would recommend if your stay is short."

"The White Moose Inn is quiet, calm, nicely appointed, clean as a whistle and has very helpful staff. The communication and responsiveness from the time I made the reservation to the time we departed was superb. Bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast yummy and generous. The Inn is also well situated in the middle of Washington Virginia, a stone's throw from Michelin-star holding Inn at Little Washington, walking distance to some lovely shops and galleries, and an easy drive through beautiful countryside to the Blue Ridge Mountains."
