"Wonderful breakfast "

"We had a great stay at the Palm (1 night). Location is excellent, right along the main street facing the water. Several restaurants and shops nearby (including restaurant and bar in the Palm). Nearby activities such as the walk around and up the little mountain, and strolling the promenade. Was about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Room was clean and spacious. The walk in shower was lovely. In the intro email from the Palm they noted it can be loud some nights due to the bar, but we...

"The room was okay, it had a bad smell (I think it was the carpet) but we got used to it. There was only bath towels, no hand towels. The view was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, and more in the surrounding area, so that smell did not take the score down too low :)"

"Everything about our overnight stay was perfect! We took the airport shuttle, great driver! Online check in and key pick up was easy and seamless. Nice reception area, lovely wide hallways and a comfortable and well appointed room. The bar was cozy and the staff were great. Supper in the bar was tasty and staff once again we're willing and anxious to please. While it's a bit of a hike from town, it's the perfect place for comfort and rest for a one or two night layover."

"We where only here for a short stay. Arrived late afternoon and then left early morning for our early morning flight. Staff great at check in and check out. Restaurant and bar was good too. We were on the top floor and the end of the building. The room was clean, and bed was comfortable. The wifi didn't quite reach us, the safe needed new batteries, and the chain for the door of the room was not very secure. These issues would be more of a problem if we were staying longer. "Internet was good. Breakfast is the basic and not worth paying extra. We tried the lunch and it was good. The manager was not friendly and watching her interact with staff I was able to see why the staff never smiled due to the way she was talking to them. A 4 night stay and ate breakfast once. The pub food was better and eaten there once. The staff were very friendly in the pub. Our Housekeeper was excellent and very helpful. Room was clean but outdated. The location was convenient to highways...

"The property has been recently restored featuring lovely materials, millwork, fabrics and color. The vibe is historical meets hip with a hint of jazz. Walkable to everything downtown including a stumble back from the Temple Bar district if that's your thing. The breakfast here is excellent...not just for a hotel. Anywhere. Highly recommend."
