"Staying at Chateau Zbiroh was a wonderful and unique experience! Even the standard room was quite spacious, so there was no feeling of being cramped. Staying in a real castle is a special experience in itself, and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere made it even more enjoyable. I highly recommend joining the castle tour, as it gives you a much better understanding of the hotel’s fascinating history and makes your stay even more meaningful. "Listed as a “Luxury Hotel” - this is not a Luxury hotel. More a camping resort & SPA with rooms. There are often maintenance issues in a hotel, what matters is how they are handled. I expected the below to be resolved in hours, but it took three days: • Batteries in A/C (not actually air conditioning) remote - after asking 3 times was given the batteries out of the unit in reception. • No shower gel in shower - asked 3 times. Design issues: • Shower - no shelving, everything has to go on...

Hotel Panská Zahrada

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing overall experience. Can't recommend enough"

Boutique hotel Corso

10/10 Excellent

"We don’t want people to find out about this place… we love it and want it to stay affordable! The 2nd time we have stayed here, a great alternative to central Prague if you prefer somewhere a little quieter. close to the train station with good connections. We love the village too, a good restaurant and a few locals bars that are open until late. The rooms are modern, comfy beds, big high ceilings and windows, great breakfast facilities. Please don’t go here..: because we want to keep it a secret for ourselves 😆"

Restaurace a penzion Racek

10/10 Excellent

"Most amazing stay in a small Czech village beside a small lake. The check-in process was in-person in the restaurant downstairs, so don't be scared by the digital check-in."

Hotel Karlštejn

10/10 Excellent

"Good place to stay overnight if you are planning a full day in Karlstejn. Staff was helpful but spoke little English so use a translation app."

Prague West - Studio Terrace

10/10 Excellent

"This was a perfect suite for a couple. Gave us lots of room! Very modern and clean with great amenities. David was an excellent host and answered all our questions and helped us out when a piece of luggage got left behind. Thank you David!"

Penzion U Admirála

8/10 Good

8/10 Good

"We had a lovely stay at U Prejzku. The apartment is charming, with large bedrooms and unique vintage decor, including old sewing machines and weighing scales, which really adds character. The property was very warm, making clothes dry easily, and the garden is fantastic for kids— I imagine it's absolutely stunning in summer with pool access. Cleanliness was generally good, though the washing machine and shower had black stains that wouldn’t wipe off, and the kitchen door frame seal was loose and swinging. The sofa is worn and uncomfortable, and the toaster could do with replacing. The TV is Czech language only; a smart TV with apps like YouTube or Netflix would be a great addition for international guests. Supplies such as washing-up liquid, cloths, and toilet paper were provided, which was appreciated, and parking was available for our hire. The property felt safe, with both the main and apartment doors locked, and keys provided to residents. Location is excellent—about 45 minutes to central Prague, very easy to visit Prague Zoo, and local trains run every 30 minutes if needed. Staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, gave us a tour on arrival, and were very responsive via the app whenever we had questions or needed confirmation. Overall, a lovely apartment with character, great rooms, brilliant outdoor space, and friendly service, though some amenities could use updating."
