We arrived late so had no interaction with staff, key was found as per clear instructions by text. The room was spacious, bed was comfy, and had everything we needed for a quick one night stay. It wasnt too flash, and slightly dated (eg aging carpet & bathroom), but it was worth the price. And we'd stay again if we were back in Brisbane.

Our bathroom had pubic hair on the floor and towels were stained. The entire hallway was full of multiple oil diffusers with an extremely strong smell and it was apparent smoking had happened in this building as our room smelled of smoke under the diffuser smell. There was also dirt on our bedspread. When we went down and told the staff at the desk we were checking out due to these issues we were not opted another room and quite honestly did not know how to resolve the issue. I then reached out to management and was told I would not receive a refund because I chose to checkout. Poor customer service, especially when it seems new ownership has taken over and trying to improve the facility. This leads me to caution you that the pictures online are not current pictures that reflect the state of the facilities.

The main issue was the high level of nosie from other rooms, e.g. room 3 was so loud it kept waking me up during the night. THe room was clean and tidy, well presented.

No info in reception on places to eat, map provided but did not show where we were. Vending machine broken, but no notice on the machine even after we told them.

This “hotel” was something else. Dont stay here especially if you have an early morning flight. Checked in and had been in the room under an hour when I chose to have a shower, got out and there was water all over the floor, found water coming out of a corner in the wall where the plumbing obviously was, told reception and was moved to a much cleaner room (by clean I mean it wasn’t completely covered in stains) but there was still paint on the windows from whoever painted the room, obviously not a certified painter. By the time we got to sleep at 11pm, after packing everything to wake up at 4am for our flight, we didn’t get a wink of sleep due to the family next to us kids running up and down the stairs until 2am, also could hear every car and noise from the main Rd outside, walls were paper thin, theres a lot more to say but it’s too much to put in one review. Also this is my first negative review I’ve ever done on a hotel, most of the time it’s not worth the effort to me because it’s just one small con, but this place is just wow

Overall motel was fine, staff were friendly and lift was handy to get up to the rooms, things to improve are things like the doors have had the locks upgraded, but to do that they have put metal straps bars on the doors and doesn’t look very inviting, plus holes in the tiles were old fixtures have been removed just need to be filled in, plus the pool was a let down as we the photos looked great and we wanted to go for a swim but when we got there it was dirty, didn’t look like it was ready for swimming so that was disappointing and the bottles of fragrance on the floors around the corridors should be on a shelf or furniture but they did smell nice. On the plus side it was very afforadable and there are shops a quick walk across the road from the motel. Overall I say 3 stars, just need to fix up the diy jobs properly and clean the pool and would be 5 stars

Easy check in and close to everything. However it’s disgusting. The bathroom hasn’t been washed ever. It’s just spray and wipe. The grout is red, hair everywhere. The carpets are stained. It made me feel sick. If anyone is reading these reviews please clean the place it’s unacceptable to charge anything and give that kind of filth to people

Room was big enough, shower head kept falling off, so not good. Didnt like that when my partner went out running all the power went off making it very hot and uncomfortable not had that before in a motel.
