Dear Expedia, Sorry to say that it was so bad in Expedia's stays experience since I started booking stays via Expedia. I'm considering other ways to book our future holiday stay right now actually. 1. Cirque Apartments did not send any entry registration messages to us for process, even though we sent messages to ask them to do so. There was no respond, until we found the phone number somewhere to call them and told them, "we are almost there". We couldn't imagine how terrible situation was if we were not able to check in..... 2. Cirque Apartments arranged a 3rd floor room for us, both of whom are elderly. As it is a walk-up apartment with only self-contained services, all we can do were to carried 2 heavy baggages to crawled 3 flights of stairs laboriously. Can you imagine the worse situation? 3. We found that there was no telephone supports after 6:00pm and was no responses, no monitoring to our messages....Can you imagine what worse situation if we do face any emergency matter? 4. Regarding the deposit issues, they didn't tell us the amount to be charged, though it is minor issues. After check out, they sent us an email to notice us that they need up to 10 business days to refund the deposit. It is totally unacceptable. Please help us to follow the complaints. We believe Expedia will handle it properly and seriously, in order not to affect your reputation. We are looking forwards to hearing your feedback. Thanks! Kind regards, Ken

7.5 out of 10 Place is a great location close to coffee and cafes in Newfarm however is a bit rundown and maybe should be expected for the price. Air conditioning worked only in one bedroom and was used to cool the entire place (two bedroom apartment). The system ran all day and could not be adjusted (two remotes provided did nothing). There were about 5 sets of cutlery and the stove top while functional was not really heating the provided pans/pots to cook anything too complicated. Oven worked fine however and worked for us on some simple frozen meals. Unit we had was on the second floor and was fine for us to walk up the stairs (no lift) but could be a bit of a problem for others.

We paid in full for a safe and functional apartment, and that was not provided. There were multiple serious failures in apartment 15: • No hot water! • Air conditioning not working and no ceiling fans although it is advertised as such • Very sub standard washing machine • Power points marked with “danger” • A faulty bedside lamp that was flickering through the first night. • No front door or garage security. Anyone can walk in to the property and upstairs. • An intoxicated stranger sitting in the stairwell and then appearing at my door • Lack of supplies - no soap ! In addition, there were 52 stairs to our apartment. Other than the location, we would not recommend Cirque Apartments whatsoever.

The room was great however the fact the dryer was broken & the water was only just luke warm was very disappointing. And power was not connected to all power points. This was reported multiple times & either ignored or the cleaners were sent to "fix" the issues...

It’s a nicely laid out apartment, in a location that was convenient for what we needed. I would not stay there if I had to go into Brisbane cbd though. Negatives: the TV antenna wasn’t working at all, the pillows were atrociously bad, and I had sent an enquiry a few days before and never heard back. I’d say it’s good enough if you need a cheap place to stay for work.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at this property, from I had expected a comfortable and smooth experience, especially considering I paid huge for a 3-night stay, but unfortunately, this was far from the case. Upon arrival, the entry code provided did not work. Despite contacting the number provided for assistance, the response I received from your staff was extremely unhelpful and rude. I was told to "find the place myself" after waiting 30 minutes for assistance. Eventually, it was discovered that the wrong had been given to me. As a result, I was stranded outside for nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes, which caused me to miss picking up my friend from the airport — they had to arrange and pay for an Uber instead. When I finally entered the property, I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the space. The floor was sticky and clearly had not been cleaned properly. The sofa in the lounge was stained and in such poor condition that it was uncomfortable and unhygienic to sit on. Additionally: The air conditioning did not work. There was constant noise from outside, indicating poor insulation. The bed sheets and quilt were stained and unclean. This experience was completely unacceptable and far below the standards expected, especially for the price paid. It not only caused significant inconvenience but also made our entire stay uncomfortable. Based on this experience, I will not be booking with your property again.

Communications with the property were difficult, I probably wouldn't stay again.
