Communication was excellent, and everything was exactly as described. There was nothing wrong with the accommodation at all - it just was a rather uninviting apartment. Felt quite budget for the price.

Didnt like the breach of privacy when it came to checking after hours. Having to send a photo of drivers license both sides and a photo of credit card to a third party. Couldn't guarantee the photos are deleted. One more bit of information and they could access my bank account or for that matter open a bank account. No other place I have stayed at after hours have ever asked for photos of that. Totally wrong and would breach privacy rules. Nice place to stay and room was good

the interior was utilitarian and not welcoming, i.e. brown wooden furniture, brown sofa, brown floor tiles, and brown curtains. No reception area or foyer, in all very basic. Would not stay there again

7 min. walk to hospital
I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. It had a great layout with 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and washer and drier. Damien, at the front desk was very accomodating and friendly. The location was 7 min. walk from RBWH, and 10 min walk to James St.

Pleasant stay
The receptionist is friendly and helpful. Informed us where we could go to get our food around the area. Allow early check in as we arrived there 3 hours earlier before the check in time.

My 5 Star Review!
Late checking was easy if you follow their email on late checking procedures. They provide a pin number which you key in at the side of the entrance and your key will drop at the bottom for your collection. Apartment was spacious and clean. Fully equipped with a washing machine, dryer, kitchen utensils, dining table etc. Location was near for me to walk to my conference which was near by down the hill. Their response was quick when i asked for a new kettle, they gave me one fresh from the box. The guy even came in to help me test the new unit. Fantastic. Check out was also easy. Drop key and be on your way. Convenient. Upon arrival back to my country, i realized i left my USB multiport adapter in the apartment. They managed to locate it under their lost and found. My colleague collected it and all is well. This hotel deserve a 5 Star Danny's Recommendation!

Easy to booked, excellent communication, very welcoming and friendly check in attendants. The building is quiet, centrally located and easy to walk to many points of interest. Onsite parking is secure and available for a reasonable nightly rate. The apartments are thoughtfully furnished and very neat. Towels and bedding were both fresh and comfortable. The liquid body wash provided is awesome as well. Literally the only negative thing I observed during my stay was that the room had a fine layer of dust on the surfaces. Overall I will definitely booking again on my next visit to Fortitude Valley and highly recommend to others.

This property did not have rooms available when I went to check in and made no attempt to put is in another hotel. They also lied and said Expedia changed my reservation to the next day and that was not true when I called Expedia and asked them. This property left us stranded in Australia and they did nothing to get us another hotel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
