"Honestly it smelt so bad like a stinky teenage boy who put on deodorant afterwards….it clearly didn’t mask it. It was filthy and the front door had been clearly kicked in and then a botch repair done. You could break yourself using the toilet due to there being a random doorstop right there. I’m not down for the Bates motel style so we booked another place as I like my life….and would definitely not recommend. My re-booked k was 1000 times better and $30 more per night."

"From the minute you walk in the welcome from all the staff is genuine, friendly and professional. The property itself has a lovely cosy laid back vibe and you’d never know it was a short walk from all the best entertainment that Brisbane has to offer. If you’re looking for the perfect venue for a romantic weekend break this is it. We will definitely be going back."

"Of you’re every in Brisbane, this is the place to stay. The attention to detail in maintaining its heritage character was wonderful. The large well appointed room and bathroom was appreciated. Five minutes down the hill to restaurants and a further five minutes to the botanical gardens made this a very accessible location. Loved our one night stay there. "
