"The hotel itself was absolutely amazing the food was really good the spa and pool was just perfect . The only little issue was booking in there was one waiting after me and the lady who booked me didn’t inform me to book breakfast while booking in . Was only couple of hours later when I went to enquire about the breakfast times another receptionist was really nice and informed me I should have been asked a time when I booked in . But other than that was good couldn’t fault the room or hotel . Looking to book again next month"

"All in all a lovely hotel with clean room, although no phone to reach out to reception. Staff very helpful and informative. Spa good but having to pay £10 as a resident was a bit of a liberty. Biggest disappointments were the main restaurant being closed off and instead we had to use the inferior small bar area to which all tables had been reserved and the main menu which didn’t have much of a choice with a high price ! Overall though I would stay again but maybe eat out within the town of Llangollen"

"My friend and I were in a twin room, clean and tidy. Hotel itself needs updating in places - carpets in corridors, paint work - nothing major Staff very accommodating, friendly and helpful Breakfast good value Facilities great - pool, Jacuzzi and sauna used - not gym Stayed for short breaks at this hotel a few times over the last few years Will certainly be using here again"

"Check in staff gave such a warm welcome it was lovely. Room was a little on the small size when you consider having a dog in there too but just about worked out ok. For the price we paid, definitely value for money."

"We had a very nice stay. Everything I would expect from Doubletree Hilton. Very clean and tidy, the staff were extremely helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast team were smiley, chatty and happy to help. Thank you to all and we would stay again."

"Speedy check-in. Great rate for short-term parking. Breakfast good - plenty of choice and decent orange juice. Not sure how a disabled person would cope with shower room floor swimming in water due to poor drainage, but other than that, everything fine. Really convenient for early morning flight departure."

"A lovely 4-star hotel in a very good location. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful from the moment we arrived. The breakfast team were particularly excellent — very attentive, helpful, and provided great service throughout. They really made our breakfast experience enjoyable. Overall, a pleasant stay with great staff and a convenient location. I would happily stay here again."
