"The Casada Hotel in Lucerne, Switzerland was fantastic! The property is clean, secure and fairly close to the train station. The Bolero restaurant was excellent for our dinner! Just a few things to know if you’re considering this hotel. 1:) rooms look bigger in the photos. We stayed in a larger room and paid more for the space, but the room is still small. Like maybe the size of two large walk-in closets in the U.S. 2). Walking to the bridge and main square shopping areas is a few blocks away. Wear good, comfortable shoes if you plan to explore the area. Again, it’s a great hotel and very tailored to taking care of their guests. We got free Casada glass water bottles as keepsakes to bring home. Plus, it rained a bit and they have wonderful quality umbrellas to use. Plus we got a few free beers in our frig and you can fill up your water bottles in the lobby fountain or your room. Excellent quality water! 3:) the elevator only holds 2 people and two carry-on suitcases, so pack light. The bed and down comforter was amazing! You can’t go wrong with a stay here! Just be prepared to walk a bit more and also remember it’s a smaller hotel and tailored to their guests! Lovely furnishings and decor. This review is from a couple from Iowa in the U.S."
