"Super challenging to find, signage is tiny and was a difficult place to locate. No clear directions on how to find the place or signage. Overall, place was spacious, clean and had everything a family needs for a comfortable stay. Lots of noise from delivery staff that hang out on the front steps and just outside this place smoking pot and other vapes. Other guests a noisy and no consideration for other guests. "Probably the best location in St Paul’s bay. Just off the main busy tourist area. Lovely pool area, plenty of sun beds. Beds were comfy and balcony overlooking the pool and the bay. Breakfast was good, and plenty of it. As with all buffets a bit of pot luck as to how fresh the hot food was when you turn up. The only issue preventing me giving the hotel an outstanding review was the maintenance. Considering this was the start of the season it seems that little work had been done on maintenance....

"L’hôtel est très bien situé dans le centre de Saint Paul et à 2 minutes de la mer. La piscine sur le toit face a la mer est vraiment un plus. Pour ce qui est de la chambre d’hôtel, nous avions réservé la « internal shaft room », la moins chère, mais qui n’a cependant aucune fenêtre sur l’extérieur et seulement ayant vue directe sur les couloirs de l’hôtel. Donc afin d’avoir un minimum d’intimité, il fallait constamment fermer le rideau et ne laisser allumer que la lumière du plafond sans lumière...

"This was a very bizzare property. It’s NOT a hotel. It’s a 3 Bedroom apartment with locking bedroom doors. There is a common living room and common kitchen. The property is run from an office in Italy and they don’t do well with English. The wi-fi was terrible and the beds were awful. The property location is NOT correct on the Hotels.com app. We ended up going to the wrong area then having to call another car to get to the actual location. "A beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Hal Ghaxaq Church square. Peaceful and relaxing but a great base for visiting the whole of Malta. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished and maintained by a great team of friendly staff. The buffet style breakfast is delicious and fresh. Lovely pool & rooftop bar area. Reception staff all Lovely and knowledgeable headed up by lovely Nirosha 😍"

"Over the years Malta has become more and more built up unfortunately as much as my stay Waz pleasant the room was facing a brick wall there was huge glass door window windows but you could see nothing but concrete I felt like I was in a basement flat surrounded by concrete it was quite claustrophobic. There is a number of rooms on that side and there was no other room available for me to take, which was a little disappointing as I said I felt quite claustrophobic after my first night...

"This was our 3rd visit to the Pergola. Love the location away from the main road and the view from the hotel across to the church and Gozo in the background is amazing. We had breakfast included and the choice was excellent. The hotel is part of a group called G3 and we have eaten at several of their restaurants and the standard is also excellent. Won’t be our last visit either."
