"I dont normally leave reviews but i wanted to with this one. The hotel needs a little love, but it wasnt terrible. The moment i walked in, the smell of mold was present, and has been my ENTIRE stay. But i dont think this can be helped - they are by a river. I am not sensitive and so far my husband has not been either, and he has allergies. This may change come morning though. "The room was spacious and hand-me-down chic. Loved the large bathtub and the huge windows (though didn't love the view of an ugly rooftop). The contactless experience went well. The neighborhood is full of great places to eat, including Hey, Babe right downstairs. The mattress is pretty firm, so if you like a cushiony mattress as I do, you might not be as comfortable, but it's probably fine for most people. Great place to stay. "The staff.....set up service sabotage, taunted me...and accused me of being agressive and violent. I was HAPPY THEY TOLD ME TO LEAVE. I WENT AND STAYED AT WYNDHAM. AND DOUBLETREE. AND HAD ZERO PROBLEMS...to.cOREY bYRNE ( HYATT MANAGER AT SOUTH SIDE)"

"This hotel was a hidden gem finding for me. It’s beautiful, room had very tall ceilings, electronic window shades, clean and was art deco/boutique style. "

"The hotel was clean and nicely designed. **the air freshener they spray is terrible. Ask for them not to spray it because you can’t even open a window. Hotel is outdated in the hallways but the room was cute and clean. Staff were attentive and very kind. "

"There is an active railway just down the hotel. I can not sleet at all. There were several long trains passing by from 10pm-8pm. "

"There were no written instructions about having the room serviced every day and no one asked us when we checked in. Consequently, we did not get clean towels or have our room serviced the first day. It wasn't until we asked that we finally received service. We also had problems with the phone and it took 2 service requests before it was fixed. We could not dial any number without receiving a busy signal."
