"Stayed here last year & liked the cottages & restaurant so we returned this year. Staff at restaurant & house keeper are lovely. Cottages clean, food great & right on the best beach for snorkelling.
We saw 2 large turtles & many coloured fish & huge coral around the coral garden not far off shore."
"Perfect place right by the black stone beach. There are two nice pools with sunbeds and you can watch the sea from the pool and from the sunbeds.

"This is a family-owned place and the pride of ownership shows. It is spotless, as they are constantly cleaning. Nothing is too much to ask and they will organize whatever you want (such as snorkeling trips, cars, etc). They will do laundry for you at $6 per load. Massages were amazing at $12 per hour. Note that the noise from the bar next door is really loud as mentioned by other reviews, but it stopped by 11 and is generally very peaceful after that."
"Shankara Parada Villas has been a wonderful stay! Great location for a walk to the beach and restaurants. Our lovely room had a great view. The very friendly staff go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your stay. We had yummy breakfasts daily. We look forward to going back to stay. "

"During COVID this hotel we were the only guests choosing one of the two ocean facing rooms. The hotel has beautiful trees and gardens as well as a nice pool facing the sea. Instead of plastic bottles there was free flow drinking water from gallons at the bar. Restaurant was temporarily closed but nice options are in walking distance (e.g. Warung Agung)."
