"With about 17,000 B&Bs in the U.S., it’s pretty easy to find one wherever you travel.The challenge is to find a good one. We’ve found a really GREAT one. Burdett House in Burdett, N.Y., outside Watkins Glen has all of the requisites for its status.
The charming multi-story house is a throwback to an earlier time with classic charm. It’s location was perfect for our daily excursions. And the best part was Ashley and Dave, the owners and hosts. Oh, and let’s not forget Hudson the house...

"Perfect spot for a laid-back couple's getaway. The rooms are a bit dated, but they are super comfortable and spotlessly clean. We loved the view from the deck right outside our room—it was the perfect place to sit and relax. The onsite tiki bar was definitely a highlight and had a great vibe. If you want a comfortable, clean, and unpretentious place to stay with excellent views, this is it."
