"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. "It is clear that the hotel’s glory days are in the past. There are indications of what it was like then but sadly also signs of its fall from grace. The positives were that the hotel was well situated, was clean, the views spectacular and entertainment was good. The staff were fine but there were few of them. The restaurant was very disappointing and food was mediocre at best. We even skipped breakfast. There was also a lot of noise in our room from seagulls nesting outside but fortunately they were quiet at night."
