"It is a remote check-in. Because we booked through expedia they could not send the information like they do for people that direct book. Took us a little bit to get an access code. The registration person on the phone was super nice though."

"Love the unique lobby area with fireplace. Very well put together. I stay every year. Great ecclectic rooms and decor. Wish the rooftop firepits worked. Was told the fire marshal said not allowed. Was mayfly season so great rooftop area still couldn't be used. Says rooftop bar but it's never in use, not a big deal, go downstairs to get drinks. Don't know why they don't figure out a net system to keep the mayflies out of the rooftop so it can be enjoyed and great views up there. Rooftop bar and firepits are one reason I choose Hotel Earl but can't enjoy that. Decent breakfast and bar and 24 hr coffee/tea bar."

"We were in room 20, beyond that room is 21 and 22, there was no parking, all the spots in the hotel parking lot were taken. We had to park on a different street behind the hotel. When we checked in there was no “obvious” hotel office and no sign saying “office”. After driving around the parking lot I found a lady that works there and I asked about checking in, she said what’s your name, gave it to her and she said, “ok, you’re checked in”. The next day a large group of Harley Bikers pulled in late sometime after supper, they also had a very hard time checking, they left their bikes running and of course had to keep revving their bikes up. I’m not against any biker groups and had it been easier for them to check in they wouldn’t have left there bikes running so long. It’s not a bad facility, just extremely amateurish how it’s run"

"I recommend having something simple on the menu for those who wish to have something more traditional to make appealing to everyone. We were in the back area. It would have been nice to have had a couple chaos and table outside our room. The hotel was far from full so moving to outside our room would have been much appreciated for our personal experience.
