Excellent service and beautiful place

Everything about this resort stay was PERFECT! We were only there overnight, but really enjoyed it! It was very clean and the hot tub was such a nice added touch that I wasn’t expecting. Highly recommend!

The room was clean, staff friendly. We were unable to unlock the deadbolt using the key & had to ask for help. Toilet handle was broken & had to flush manually. Could have used a luggage rack. Property is good location & would stay again.

There were ants in our bathroom. We asked for service the second day. Trash and towels. Never received them. Wi-Fi is horrible. When asked for the Wi-Fi password the employee wouldn’t give it to us and said it wasn’t private. It was so we didn’t have Wi-Fi all weekend. Beach area not really swimming friendly for kids but they did like the pool. Breakfast is nothing special.

Disappointing - thin walls, no Wi-Fi, & metal keys

TLDR: Insanely thin walls = hear everything (even neighbors' bodily functions), no wifi (w/o notice), metal keys (+ lost key charge), friendly staff, clean. The front desk clerk was friendly, and the hotel was clean, which I appreciated. However, they are the only two positive aspects of my stay. My main complaint was how shockingly thin the walls were. I have stayed in many hotels and expected to hear some noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway, but this was like nothing I had experienced before. The walls were so thin that I heard entire conversations, toilet flushes, and even bodily functions (yes, I'm serious) from the neighboring room. Even with earplugs, I could not get any sleep. Second, the hotel's wifi was not working. It would have been considerate if I had been notified beforehand - such as when I called to confirm my reservation or during check-in. Also, the hotel's website touting free wifi should have noted the outage. Rather than an honest and forthcoming staff, I learned of the wifi outage from a tiny sign in my room. This was aggravating because I had to work and use my mobile-hot spot data. Lastly, the hotel uses metal keys instead of keycards. Although this is minor, I was concerned since I misplace items often, and the hotel charges a fee for lost keys. Overall, I had high hopes for this hotel based on the staff and appearance, but I was let down by the thin walls, noise level, and no internet.

Lake Cadillac Resort

Newly renovated and right on Lake Cadillac. Room was great, large fridge, microwave and a large walk-in shower. Very clean. Would stay there again.

Nice renovations. Great staff. There were some questionable guests on the premises that included law enforcement involvement. Turned out to be some local people but it made us a little uncomfortable. Overall a good stay. We enjoyed it.
