Terrible, I have booked a room with different amenities and was not available at my check in , they took me to a place that it’s very close to the location I booked but was not fair, I tried so many times to try to contact the hotel before my arrival several days before and never got response until last day and it was thru instagram which is very annoying and frustrating to try to contact your booked hotel thru some many apps, messages and phone calls. staff members were very nice overall except management they were not available to resolve.

Disappointing Stay – Serious Maintenance and Cleanliness Issues Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet basic standards of cleanliness or comfort. The ceiling paint is peeling and falling, including in the bathroom. The bathroom itself is extremely small and not clean. One corner of the bedroom, right next to the bed, had visible mold, which is unacceptable and concerning from a health perspective. The bed frame is very old and worn, and the bedsheets were dirty, giving the impression that they had not been properly changed. Overall, the room felt neglected and poorly maintained. See pictures! The only positive aspect of this hotel is the staff, who were genuinely kind, polite, and very helpful. Unfortunately, good service cannot compensate for the poor condition of the rooms. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers expecting basic hygiene and comfort standards

Très en colère par rapport à cet hébergement. Fenêtre occultée, fuite sous la douche, fuite sous les toilettes, serviettes de toilette et draps troués, on nous a fait payer 9 dollars par nuit et en cash pour changer de chambre. La literie était mauvaise et nous avons eu mal au dos. Le service est d'une lenteur incroyable.

A great place to stay in Cairo downtown, ton of places to eat and shop around. The hotel’s room is very cozy and comfortable, really loved the staff - very friendly, helpfully and respectful.

Location is right in the middle of the square and close to the old Egyptian museum. Breakfast was filling and delicious and everyone is very kind. Bathrooms could do with a bit more cleaning and possibly a repaint but everything else was great. I would visit again.

Would stay again and again.

This was my second stay here, this time at the end of my trip. Again lovely staff, fantastic breakfast, very good value for the cost. If you want to be central Cairo, and don't have a massive budget, then this is your place.

Wonderful stay

A very filling breakfast, slightly different on eirher day, freshly prepare. Clean comfortable room, wonderful staff, and bang centre so great location. If you stay here lopk for the Hotel Tulip signs, its in that entrance.

Leider entsprach das Zimmer nicht den Erwartungen: Es war sehr klein, die Fenster boten keinen freien Blick und das Bad, insbesondere die Dusche, war in einem schlechten Zustand. Aufgrund dieser Umstände waren wir gezwungen, den Aufenthalt abzubrechen und in ein anderes Hotel zu wechseln, was mit deutlich höheren Kosten verbunden war. Insgesamt eine enttäuschende Erfahrung, die wir so nicht noch einmal machen möchte.

Infelizmente todas avaliações negativas aqui são verdade. Não posso dar zero pq a mínima é um. O lugar é mega barulhento. O barulho vai até 3 da manhã. Barulho dos carros na rua. Não tem isolamento acústico. O lugar está muito mal conservado. Tem mofo nas paredes. O piso está descascando e chuveiro está mega velho e pingando. Mas o pior foi o funcionário do hotel foi me acusar de ter furado uma toalha e que eu precisar ressarcir. Me recusei. Te dão uma toalha furada e querem que vc pague por isso? Tentativa de golpe claramente. A entrada do hotel é horrível parece que vc está entrando em um prédio não abandonado. Então, FUJAM desse hotel. Gastem um pouco mais e fiquem em um outro hotel. Ah… e de boutique passou longe.

Good location for the price I paid. Room had no window! Only window was facing to the wall of the next building and covered with shutters. We did not have sense of daytime in this room. Bathroom was super small, shower was leaking, that looked like was an old issue. Breakfast was good, stay were friendly, wi-fi was slow.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel in Heart of Cairo

Wonderful hotel for this price point and location. Staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. Room had a great view of Talaat Harb Square, the heart of downtown Cairo and Cairo city life, and was clean. You won’t be disappointed as long as you know what you’re getting into: a boutique hotel in an old historic building located at Talaat Harb Square, the heart of downtown Cairo. If you choose a room with a street view, there will be noise. If you’re looking for something glamorous with five star amenities, this isn’t for you.

Great little hotel in the heart of downtown Cairo! The room was very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing me with tips on what to do in Cairo. They also assisted in calling all my Ubers and negotiating with drivers regarding the price, which was extremely helpful since I don't speak Arabic.

We were two people and we had a lovely time staying in this hotel during our time in Cairo! I genuinely think that the working staff there was the kindest I ever met in any hotel. This helped a lot to feel comfortable in a new city. The food was good and the bed was comfortable. The best thing about our room was the balcony with a view towards the plaza! The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that the hotel was signed out insufficient on the street, so it is a bit difficult to find the hotel, even if it is right at the plaza. I recommend a sign right in front of the building, which is missing currently. But this was only a minor inconvenience. All in all I would stay there again anytime I visit Cairo, so I can recommend this hotel. You will have a lovely time there!
