"Great 19th century Scottish inn next to the water with a lighthouse view. Excellent food, a cozy bar, and conveniently located within 60-90 minutes from all points of the island"

"This place sounded like a place you'd find in Australia. Not to be confused with Australis's own Wolf Creek. The isolation is the only thing these two places have in common, but Tingle Creek is a much more peaceful and quiet location.
Shower was great, bed even better and the breakfast allowed you to choose from hot and cold selection, choosing how much and what you wanted to eat. Ive been to many hotels with breakfast included and a lot goes to waste as they often give you too much.
They don't offer dinner but maybe that will come in time. Still I would rate this place.

"This was a great place - highly recommend. Not sure, but almost appeared it has been recently updated, everything looked new. Rooms were great and comfortable -- had Seaview upper floor room -- more than ample space, heated bathroom floors! On-site free parking. Restaurant was very nice and breakfast was included and perfect way to start day. Staff was excellent. Great place to stay."
"We had a great time at this hotel. We were there 2 nights and it was very easy to get in the car and see all of Isle of Sky from there. The property was under some construction but they did a good job of keeping it mostly away from the rest of the hotel. We were probably going to miss dinner one night but the staff said they’d put in an order for us at 8:15 pm so we could roll in with a reserved seat and eat before they closed. Nice! Breakfast was good and customers can order an egg a different way if you prefer something other than scrambled. We realized our back patio door didn’t lock and we let the front desk know. Parking is tight but the staff actually walked outside to help us get settled somewhere each night. The staff bent over backwards for us! Second floor had some historical pictures of the area and they weren’t great but the art on the first floor was bright and fun. The upstairs pictures might be changing with the construction. The hotel dining areas had excellent views of the water and mountains. The food was really good and tried different things both evenings. We really enjoyed it! I think, if I’m remembering correctly that it was under new management starting in late 2025-early 2026 so whatever they are doing differently, they are doing it right! Loved it and would go back again if we are ever back in the area."
"The cabin was very clean and very well kept, the location was good for our trips in the isle. We also ate at their restaurant and everything was very good!"
"Lovely little B’n’B, another place I can’t recommend enough! Room was lovely and clean, super comfortable bed with all your expected amenities of a good hotel! Communal areas like the lounge were great, lovely view out into the garden where you can take a minute and really enjoy the setting. They had a little shop with everything you could ask for, and really great prices too, would be easy to charge a fortune considering location but pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were, just shows the hosts are dedicated to giving a great stay. Whole place felt very professional and to a really high standard. Breakfast was lovely too! Couldn’t fault it. Moray one of the hosts and the chef, was very friendly and there to chat and share some knowledge of the area and recommendations which was lovely. Would definitely stay here again!"
"Very cute and clean historic property. Great deal on skye. Even though there lot was full there was a massive lot across the street that was free of charge"
