"The building is under renovation. No actual front desk the woman who checked me in left me a bunch of keys and opened the garage. But was convenient to the ferry terminal which was way I stayed there. Room is basic but clean. "

"Zur Ankunft hatte mir der Betreiber vergessen den Zugangscode zu senden. Nach einigen Telefonaten und SMS erhielt ich dann den Zugangscode. Der Betreiber entschuldigte sich mehrmals und gab mir gleich noch zwei gute Restaurant Tipps . Das Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und kleiner Küche ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Die Servicekräfte sind sehr bemüht und sehr freundlich."

"They were doing renovations in other rooms in the building (we stayed off-season), so our room smelled like plaster and construction materials from all the dust etc from the downstairs renovation. In my opinion, they should not have listed the property since it is under renovation. We literally had to walk over construction materials to climb the stairs. It was expensive for what we experienced. "

"Beautiful location and beautiful building right kn the middle of a plazza. Three things to keep in mind: we had no blankets in the room so it was quite chilly during the night in October. We just had the bedsheets. The property is advertised with breakfast included but when going down to breakfast we were told that Tuesdays there is no breakfast as the barman has its day off. "The hotel & staff exceeded our expectations at Sui Generis! We absolutely loved that it was boutique and intimate yet with a luxury feel. The breakfast every morning was amazing and the room was very spacious! The two cleanings a day was such a treat. The hotel will also provide you pool & beach towels to use which was very nice. It is also just a 5-6 minute walk to the lively city centre. I would highly recommend them for any visit to Tropea, we would definitely stay here again :)"
