"The location and history provided can't be beat. The hotel alone was filled with pictures and information. The older phones even provided an audio history. The rooms were put together well and were comfortable. The restaurant and bar were very nice. Brooke was a great help with dinner suggestions. The common bathrooms however need a good scrub. Carpets are difficult to keep clean I'm sure but they also need shampooed so that people don't think the rooms will be dirty. Overall, nice stay."

"The Garland Hotel in New Concord is my new go-to as a half-way stop between NJ and IL! I loved the cleanliness, service, decor -- everything! The staff even graciously allowed me to check in early when I arrived before 3:00 -- a great comfort in an area where there's no nearby shopping or dining. I'm actually looking forward to my return trip next week and the promise of a good night's sleep in a lovely hotel. I'll just make sure I bring food with me : )"

"The property was quaint & charming. The staff couldn't have been any nicer. They immediately fixed the problem with the lights, so my only complaint was that they really needed to wash the floor. Otherwise, if I was ever going that way again, I would definitely stay there. "
