"Check in was efficient, staff very helpful and attentive. A stunning place with lots of quiet spaces. The breakfast was superb. It is however a bit jaded though. The blind in the room was broken and tap needed replaced. Overall it was a lovely experience and well worth the money paid"

"Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed "

The hallways could use a fresh coat of paint, but every was very nicely decorated and high quality. We’ve been in Scotland two weeks and this was one of our favorite places we stayed at. The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. "Apex is a beautiful hotel with some of the best people in hospitality. They ensured that our experience was wonderful. In particular we travelled a distance but got there early. The Front Desk receptionist was, nevertheless, able to get us in a room. It was so appreciated! And the experience only got better. I highly recommend."

"A very welcoming hotel with a wonderful view of the Loch, which our bedroom looked out on. All in all an excellent place to stay though I felt the full Scottish breakfast a little pricey at an additional £18.99 Can certainly recommend though."

Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). Fabulous stay and would love to come back!"

"Spent the weekend here as a group for my sisters hen weekend. The photographs don’t do the facility justice. The house was amazing with so much character!! The staircase, aga and fire were fantastic!! Set in such a peaceful space with excellent grounds for kids and big ‘kids’ to play games. Plenty of space and rooms were an amazing size and comfortable! Would def book again for a large group activity weekend!! "
