"We’ve just checked out of this lovely hotel, having spent 4 nights here. Our room was really nice and quiet with a comfortable bed and was cleaned daily. The only slightly negative point being the shower, it does what it is meant to do but don’t expect a power shower (I am being really picky I know) whilst the hotel does not have AC in the bedrooms, each room has a fan in it and we opened the windows at night to get some air in. It was in the 30’s when we were out here and we didn’t struggle sleeping.
Fabulous breakfast each morning with a large selection of items but we didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening so we cannot comment on their evening menu or service.
The hotel is in an excellent location to explore all the WW2 sits and is also in the town centre so very close to shops and restaurants. All the staff we had contact with were very professional and friendly.
Tip - if you need a parking space at the hotel, make sure to reserve a space in advance. There are limited parking spaces here and they go quickly. I only found this out when I contacted the hotel in advance about something else and happened to mention we were driving to them.
Overall, a beautiful hotel and we would stay here again"
