"The hotel was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The in-room shower was powerful with plenty of hot water, although the shower head was fixed at waist height, meaning you had to hold it while showering.
Communal areas felt a little shabby in places, though they were generally clean. It was disappointing that bottled water was charged to the room, which didn’t feel justified given the overall price; however, staff were attentive and removed this charge at checkout when raised.
Breakfast offered a good selection, but the hot food was often lukewarm. That said, when we mentioned it, the staff were extremely helpful and quick to try and resolve the issue.
Overall, it served its purpose as a centrally located place to stay, but it didn’t feel worth the nightly rate. The hotel is a bit tired and would benefit from some redecoration."
