Hotel Agua Beach - Adults Only

"Great location, wonderful staff, but some areas need attention The negatives: Our beach view was partially obstructed by trees, so be aware that rooms below the third floor are unlikely to offer an uninterrupted view. The bathroom was rather tired, and the shower could do with updating. We had booked a queen sized bed but instead received two single beds pushed together with a mattress topper. This might have been acceptable had we not spent each night trying to avoid falling into the gap between them! There was also a cracked mirror in the room that had been repaired with duct tape, which wasn't particularly reassuring. The cleanliness of the crockery in the dining area was disappointing. Every day we found ourselves sorting through plates and coffee cups to find clean ones. The positives: The staff are fantastic: friendly, helpful and welcoming. The kitchen and dining teams deserve particular praise for their hard work. The pool area is lovely and catches the sunshine beautifully at the right time of year. The rooftop terrace and hot tub are also great additions. And finally, location, location, location! This part of Palma Nova is perfect. A lovely, quiet beach, excellent bars and restaurants, and plenty of supermarkets and shops within easy reach. Despite a few shortcomings, we really enjoyed our stay. For the price we paid, this was a great little hotel in a fantastic location. With some attention to the rooms and cleanliness of the crockery, it could be better."

"I could not find a negative thing to say about this hotel. My room was kept clean and bed made daily; a varied menu for both breakfast and dinner and all fresh food and delicious. The staff were especially attentive and friendly. The views of the bay and the beach were stunning and especially the sunsets as one ate one's dinner on the dining hall verandah. There is a lift right down to the beach and a coded entry from the beach again to keep the hotel complex safe. Air conditioning was first class and there was always plenty of hot water. Television had plenty of channels and three in my language. All excellent."

"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very pretty and had some lovely features. There was a beautiful double sink with bronze taps. The wet room was very spacious. The breakfast was very comprehensive but the area where the food was displayed was quite cramped. As a disabled person I would appreciate more space and the hotel was not full so it would be tight during busy periods. The food was displayed beautifully and there were some unusual choices such as honey on a honeycomb. The waiters were very helpful. We would definitely return. One main criticism is the lack of information in the room. On asking the staff were very informative but sometimes it is useful to have info on hand."
