Die ganze Anlage ist eine super Unterkunft. Die kleinen Fischerhäuschen mit allen was man benötigt ausgestattet, das Personal ist top - immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ab ins Paradies

Wie im Paradies, einfach traumhaft, wenn man die Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe(das Meer rauscht)mag, das Personal ist sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns unglaublich wohl, freuten uns immer wieder nach Ausflügen zurückzukehren. Leider sind die Matratzen für meinen Körper nicht gemacht. Sehr einfach. Die Federn der Matratze sind deutlich spürbar, ich legte mir eine Wolldecke darunter. Es gibt natürlich einige Krabbeltiere. Die Küchenausstattung ist einfach, aber brauchbar. Das Frühstück mit frischen Säften, Eiern in jeder Form, frische Brötchen, selbstgemachte Marmelade, Obst usw. schmeckte uns jeden Morgen aufs Neue. Der Kaffee ist Geschmackssache. Es gibt Cornflakes mit frischem Joghurt, Haferflocken wären sehr schön gewesen.Die Fahrt mit der Gondel war immer wieder ein schönes Erlebnis, besonderes freuten wir uns immer den älteren Angestellten an der Gondel zu treffen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und ich würde mich auf eine bessere Matratze freuen.

The view if the ocean is awesome. I did not like the lack of information such as the restaurant being a .7 km walk from the cabin along a rough pathway with no shade. The .7 km walk back from the restaurant is all uphill. There are signs that point down to the restaurant but there are few signs that point to the cabin area or to reception so you need to walk around to find the signs. This is not conducive to people with mobility issues. If we had not been met at the lower cable car station upon our arrival, we would not have been able to easily find our cabin and since we were not given a key we would not have been able to get in to the cabin. The cabin was nicely equipped with a kettle and drip coffee pot but bring your own teabags and coffee. The restaurant does not open for breakfast until 9 AM. There are no vending machines. We did pre-order food for an evening meal but we did not realize that the walk to the restaurant was such a long distance. To have your food delivered to your cabin is five Euro but it was not explained whether you pay an additional five Euro to have someone come and get the pots. (There was no disposable containers). With the cable car service stopping at 6 PM, we found that this destination was more of a hassle than it was an enjoyment. The restaurant area is the only place with any activity.

Faja dos padres ist eine wunderbare Destination.Der Traum vom Paeadis! Der Service ist absolut gut und freundlich. Vor allem der Liftbediener und die Zimmerfrau sind so nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut und das Morgenessen reichhaltig. Nur der Service von Hotel.com lässt zu wünschen übrig: Trotz Bestätigung hatte das Hotel keine Anmeldung und wir konnten glücklicherweise trotzdem dort bleiben.

Häuschen direkt am Meer

Schöne kleine Ferienhäuschen direkt am Meer. Terrasse zum Meer hin. Anreise mit Seilbahn und atemraubender Aussicht. Bioprodukte direkt vom eigenen Hof erhältlich: feine Bananen und Acocados und vieles mehr. Liebe Leute wie der Verantwortliche für die Seilbahn oder die Frau, die jeden morgen das Frühstück in einem Korb vorbei bringt.

eine traumhafte Lage

Die Überschrift sagt alles! Super gelegene, tolle Hütte, wir hatten zwei Terrassen direkt am Meer!! Leider hatten wir immer dann, wenn wir Zeit hatten, die Umgebung dieser tollen Unterkunft zu erkunden, Regenwetter oder es war schon relativ dunkel, so haben wir den Plantagenbereich leider nicht ausreichend kennengelernt, aber das holen wir ein anderes Mal nach :o) Preis-Leistung fanden wir absolut in Ordnung, in Funchal zahlt man für das ein oder andere DZ im "Massenhotel" dasselbe Geld oder auch mehr P.S.: Fahrstuhl fahren war gar nicht so schlimm, auch für etwas Höhenängstliche, bei der ersten Fahrt stellt man sich dann besser nicht direkt ans Fenster :o)
