"The carpet in our room was a little damp for some reason which was the reason the room smelled musty when we first opened the door. Their wifi was also very weak. Otherwise, it's a jewel in the shadow of Mount Washington"

"For basic lodging with a pool as your only needed amenity, Moose Lodge is great. We didn't use the pool but it looked to be in great, clean shape. It's great if you're in town for fishing or hunting, etc. Nice to have a kitchen too in our 2-bedroom room. No air conditioning but we had three ceiling fans that worked fine."

"Safe and clean, although dated. It was very difficult to get the shower to a safe, comfortable temp, but with some patience, it can be done. The hot tub/spa area is seasonal, which was not advertised. Quiet and comfortable, the room was spacious."

"Sunday River is a cozy, friendly place to stay. The staff was helpful and attentive. I had the pool, hot tubs and gym all to myself. The rooms and appliances are dated yet functional. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was pleasant."

"One good thing, the room was clean. There is no one in the office at any time there is a number you can call but no actual person the hotel is supposed to have bagels and oatmeal and light breakfast but nothing was available either morning I was there were also dirty dishes in the sink with food crusted to it and the countertops were sticky it looked like no one had been there in a while because all of the air conditioners were covered with foam and garbage bags so the rooms were hot. Will not...

"The rooms were very spacious, clean, and well maintained. Close to plenty of hiking trails. We stayed one night before starting our hiking and camping weekend but decided to forego our ovenight camping plans and ended up booking another night at the hotel instead! The staff was wonderful, kind, and genuinely pleased to accommodate us. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a good night sleep in a cozy room and comfortable bed. John was very warm and friendly and had a wealth of information to share. Jeannette prepared a delicious breakfast complete with freshly ground coffee. We will definitely recommend the Holidae House B and B to our friends and will return here if we travel this way again."

"This is a lovely property with many extras. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which had a small kitchenette and a murphy bed in the expansive common area - grandson opted to sleep on the leather sofa. Bed in bedroom was super comfy. Our view was spectacular. We could see 5 mountains! Hot tub was nice and toasty. The jar of marshmallows for fire pit was a nice touch."

"The road to the condos is extremely treacherous. The staff at the restaurant was lovely but the food came out cold and most not edible. The staff was all so nice. It’s an old hotel and needs some tlc."

"The room was comfortable and just as we expected. The grounds were more than we expected, with acres of beauty and cute farm animals nearby! Breakfast was made to order at a time we specified, and was delicious."
