"Stunning hotel in this small town!
Very modern/elegant and well designed building and room.
Lovely view from the top. Nice outdoor little sitting areas.
We really enjoyed our spacious room.
Everything was top notch. We wish we could have stayed longer."

Great stay! Traditional made modern building. In the picturesque little town of Ardales, close to famous trails. Very helpful staff. The pool on the roof-top, though bit smallish, with the great view. Wi-fi could be stronger.

We stayed for 5 days in July and we were very well looked after.
The staff were very warm and welcoming when we arrived.
The building has been renovated to a high standard and is kept very clean and well maintained by the hard working staff. Lots of nice details such as roof terrace, espresso pod machine in the corridor on each floor, a safe and fridge in the room with alcoholic and soft drinks which were complementary (I have never experienced this in any hotel). The hotel is in a wonderful location with amazing views. The hotel messaged us before the stay to provide advice on getting to the hotel, which saved us a more difficult journey on country roads. The dinner was excellent, as was the service.

Wasn’t sure what to expect as it is a modern Parador, not in an historic building. But we loved it. Spacious, great views from the dining room and the food was really good.

This is most certainly a 'must visit' hotel. It takes us back to the days of traditional Spanish service: nothing was too much trouble for the staff; the hotel itself is styled in the cool, traditional Andalucian way; and the food was excellent. Although it might be seen as an 'en route' stopover, the fitness and pool facilities are excellent and would offer a wonderfully enjoyable family break.
We will most certainly return!

Had a fantastic stay at the Hostel Duran.
Lovely place in the heart of the old town, bars and restaurants right on your doorstep.
We had beautiful views from our terrace to the castle, I suggest booking a room with a balcony/terrace.
Rooms are basic (it's a Hostel) but clean, spacious and beds very comfortable.
The room was also cleaned daily, the whole property is spotlessly clean.
Can't wait to return.

Great hotel which was clean and bright. The rooms were a little dated compared to the common area and the selection on the food buffet wasn't great but apart from that we had a really nice stay.
