The room that we got was upgraded by emma who is very generous and kind to us. Bridgetta assist us kindly. The room is clean and spacious and has direct access to the greenery and ocean. Great for fishing and access to Strathcona Provincial Park but limited otherwise. At 4 pm on a Monday we couldn’t find a coffee place open. Nice seaside views but limited places to sit outside and enjoy them apart from park benches. A bit too sleepy
Excellent choice of beers and food at the Beach Fire brewery
Lots to do in the area, and planty of shops if that is what you enjoy.
Hotel was very close to the river so in the park across the road it was lovely to sit and watch the ferry to Quadra Island depart.
