This is a conventional motel which is clean and well looked after. It might be the warmest motel I have ever stayed in, which is handy in Queanbeyan.

This is an older hotel but is well maintained. Spotlessly clean room, quiet and parking right outside the door. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money and the two house cats were a hit with my son. Will definitely stay again.

Very clean, even though it’s an older property very happy with the room.. fresh white sheets a bonus.. only drawback was the blanket on the bed I think may have been wool and I am allergic, so perhaps a doona and top sheet would be better!! Right next to the Royal Hotel, food is great… Definitely would stay again..

The manager was delightful .. she greeted us with friendly enthusiasm ... she had kindly booked us a room on first floor but she noticed that I had a slight problem leaving the office and using the stairs from the office ..... without my asking she changed our room to downstairs !! This gesture is service and professionalism at its best !!!! I was made to feel very important !!

It was a great hotel, right next to the hotel where our function was. Nice early checkin at 12pm. Very clean, lovely gardens.

Great Location
Tidy hotel in surprising location that is really central and really good. The parking off street is also really good. Reception was good. Friendly and easy. Rooms are good, bed was OK. Would stay again.

I just needed a clean comfortable room that was close to where I needed to be the next day and close to food options, Mid City Motor was perfect for both. The lady at reception was very helpful, friendly and polite. Would stay there again if ever back in the Queanbeyan area.

My room had a peculiar smell that didn't dissipate during my stay, it was meaty and odd, similar to walking into a butcher shop. I'm guessing this was a cleaning product or similar. Policy around guests smoking has guests smoking directly outside rooms on tables and chairs provided, which inevitably drifts into rooms, this was really unpleasant. On the final night of my stay a guest in a neighbouring room was outside smoking and talking loudly on a cellphone on speaker, he persisted until I confronted him at 1:40am

I'm really sorry to hear your stay was so unpleasant. I have no idea what the smell was, we use a lemon or eucalyptus based cleaning product and would have moved you to another room straight away if I was made aware of it. The policy Aust wide is no smoking inside, unfortunately this means the only place to smoke is outside, surprisingly there are very few smokers now compared to the 'old days' when it was the norm to have two ashtrays in each room. Can you imagine that. An ashtray on the bedside and one on the table. Closing your outside windows should have stopped any drifting smoke though. Again I apologise you had to put up with it and had to confront your neighbour. Should you choose to stay with us again and have any issues, please feel free to use the after hours phone number or mention it to us in the office and we will do our best to make sure your room and stay is comfortable.

Motel was located in centre of town so we were able to walk to our party next door. Very convenient. Very clean and well maintained for its age. Fortunately there was a single bed in the room as we both wouldn’t have fitted comfortably in the double bed
