"Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. The place smelled like cigarettes and the host is not on site/wasn’t responsive. However, we may have been a one off. Everybody has a bad day and we hope...

"Local um distante de tudo, se quiser comer tem que levar de tudo , a casa oferece todos os tipos de utensílios domésticos, tem wifi, a TV nao funcionou , em tempos de verao um ventilador na casa é muito importante mas atendeu a minha necessidade. Mais nao voltaria a me hospedar na casa !"

"Local excelente, limpo e muito confortável, porém foi reservado para 4 clientes e tinha apenas 2 toalhas de banho e não havia roupa de cama para o sofá cama. Um edredon e sem fronhas para os travesseiros, na verdade havia somente 1 travesseiro e nem lençol para forrar. Para a cama de casal a roupa de cama estava completa. Deixaram de cortesia 2 cápsulas de café, sendo que éramos 4 pessoas. Falhou na comunicação e no material necessário para a estadia ser mais positiva."

"Hotel extremely understaffed and overrated, Reception seldom has somebody to support guests, restaurant also incredibly understaffed. Employees are helpful but clearly not enough, when staff cut to the bone service becomes mediocre. This is what focus on cost cutting by hotel owners looks like, cost cutting through minimum staffing is their priority. Very disappointing, not in line with a 4-star hotel."
