"The property is very dated but they are in the process of renovating but not sure if that includes the rooms. I stayed in a balcony suite (428) which was quite large with a kitchen and an electric fire place. Can’t beat the location right on the beach with the surf lulling me to sleep with the sliding door open. Just needs a bit of upgrades especially getting rid of the carpet in the rooms given that there are many guests with dogs. Overall I was comfortable and the location is perfect."

"I’ve stayed here several times. The motel is very outdated and some items appeared to be broken such as the hairdryer. I would also have liked to have a “do not disturb” sign for the door, but other than that I enjoyed my stay. I love that it’s affordable and faces the ocean within steps to the beach. I love Rockaway and will always come back. When looking up the motel, I did see they’re doing renovations. I can’t wait to come back after the renovations have been completed for an even more comfortable experience! The staff is always accommodating. I went to the lobby looking for some tea and they had tea and coffee for guests. There is also a pool, but I have never used it so I can’t comment on that. Keep up the great work! :)"

"Though an older property, everything is well-maintained and up-to-date. Surprisingly quiet given how close we were to town - just a quick 5 min walk. Easy access to the beach, the town, and the highway. Watch out for the elk! They came right into tge property to munch on the grass as night. Will definitely stay here again."

"Love being right across from the beach and being able to see all the wild bunnies in elk. Staff was very friendly and helpful and even gave my mother a bottle of wine for her birthday, which was greatly appreciated"
