"We had a wonderful stay at The Grace Hotel and wished we booked it from the start. The lobby has a charming historical feel, but the rooms are very modern, spacious, and beautifully done. The kind of hotel room you actually want to stay in and enjoy, not just sleep in. Everything felt bright, clean, and well-maintained. The free minibar (refreshed daily) was a really nice touch. We chose a quiet room so the view was just okay, but the peace and quiet were worth it. Service was excellent. Concierge Mahe was especially helpful in showing us the room so we could decide whether to move from our previous hotel. Matt at concierge was also great, and the front desk staff were consistently friendly and pleasant. Love the location. Neighborhood is quiet and lovely to walk around in, with great breakfast spots nearby. It’s also within short walking distance to Martin Place, Circular Quay, shopping areas, and Darling Harbour. Only area for improvement: The pool, gym, and patio area feel quite cramped and dated and don’t match the otherwise premium feel of the hotel. I was planning to use the pool and sauna but changed my mind after seeing the space. Overall: A beautiful, comfortable stay with excellent service and location. Would definitely come back."

"I attempted to contact the property prior to check-in with a few questions, however I was unable to reach anyone despite multiple phone attempts. I also tried emailing through the website and did not receive a response. That said, the check-in experience itself was very smooth, and the staff on arrival were friendly and welcoming. My only concern was the lack of communication options before arrival, as it would have been helpful to connect with someone in advance."

"We had a lovely stay. The location is fabulous, staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. The view from our room was just like in the photos online. The bed was so comfortable, not too hard, not too soft. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. "

"Paid extra for room up grade. We want view of opera house. But unfortunately the windows were too dirty to take a photo! In room coffee machine didn't work. Plus no coffee cups. Lobby cafe was great."

"Lovely property stayed on the heritage side which is nice but noticed the light switches are falling off the walls and probabaly the worst shower I’ve ever had in a motel.. every 10 seconds goes from scalding to freezing cold no matter what you do"

"Have stayed a few times here over recent years. Nice hotel in general. Restaurants are good, somewhat pricey compared to surrounding restaurants but consistent. Rooms do need a refresh, particularly bathrooms. Markings/grime on tiles in showers. Low water pressure in shower. Toilets flushing and running water from cistern needing to press a number of times to stop. Just feels a bit dated for the price paid. A good hotel but used to be great. Noise from hotel and street on city side of hotel seemed extra loud. Even from top floor. Double glazing or other insulation would be good. "
