"Very unique beach front property with quaint bungalows, beach access, very nice pool, yoga studio and adjacent spa. The food at the beach front farm to table restaurant was excellent and all of the staff were very professional, kind, helpful and attentive. Loved the included breakfast and free yoga class. Close to other restaurants and stores in Santa Teresa. Great location, beautiful beach and amazing sunsets! Pura Vida!"

"The food was amazing. Wendy was amazing, she helped me and my family( a group of 4 kids women) get whatever we needed. The other staff were nice as well. Mr. B, Kenneth, Danni, Will, Alonzo, Wendy etc! They were so nice and helpful. The only thing is that they are renovating the other property so stuff was shut down. Couldn’t go ATV riding, but we found one off the property. The town of Samara was nice too. Nice locals."

"The beach view was amazing. The view from the pool was amazing. They said my reservation wasn't booked with my vip status, so no vip perks. Breakfast says buffet, and the picture shows buffet, but it's à la carte, so not a buffet for the price; you can get a better breakfast elsewhere."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The food was excellent, with every meal exceeding our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained, and the amenities were fantastic. Everything about the property made for a relaxing and memorable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Montezuma or Santa Teresa area. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, I strongly recommend stopping by for a meal—the food alone is worth the visit. Overall, a wonderful place that we would gladly return to!"

"We had an incredible 8-night stay here for our honeymoon, and it exceeded every expectation. My wife is pregnant, so we were looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, and this was the perfect place to unwind. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed with a handwritten note signed by members of the staff and a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon. Halfway through our stay, they surprised us with a thoughtful baby gift, which was such a kind and meaningful touch that made us feel truly cared for. The atmosphere throughout the property was calm and relaxing, and the location was ideal with the beach just a short distance away. The beach shuttle was convenient and made getting back and forth effortless. Our room was exactly as pictured—beautiful, cozy, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything was well maintained, and we always looked forward to coming back after a day out. We also loved dining at Almar. Every meal was delicious, and the cocktails and mocktails were fantastic. Most of all, the staff made this stay unforgettable. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind, welcoming, and eager to make our experience special. We honestly have no complaints. This was the perfect honeymoon, and we would absolutely love to return in the future. Highly recommend!"

"Fabulous property and location. Staff were awesome, especially Francisco. Lots of restaurants and bars close by, if you want to try something outside the resort. Very safe and quiet area. A couple of things, one the roads are not all paved and the dirt ones are very rough. Two, great for families, but a few too many kids during our stay. Next time, we probably go adults only."

"Rooms are very spacious, beds were super comfortable. It’s a 4-minute walk to the ocean. Breakfast was good not great, and the pool is small but awesome. People were great and helpful. Would definitely go back here."
