"The view from the property is amazing. The rooms were spacious and clean. We stayed at a 2BR room - both bedrooms had an AC so it was nice to have cool rooms during the hot and humid nights. There are many birds in the area - I saw the most colorful Tucans there. We also saw some wild monkeys.
The property is up on the hill - you'd need a decent car with a good traction, ideally 4WD as parts of the uphill road is not paved. There's no big sign for the property from the main road, so if you're not paying attention, you'd miss the turn. (As we did several times!)
The restaurant on the property is very nice, but the last order is 6:30pm, which you should note if you're arriving late. But there are plenty other restaurants in the area that are open late. The breakfast is served after 7:30pm. We had to leave earlier to catch some early morning activities - we asked the hotel about the breakfast box they offered on their brochure, but the person I spoke to didn't know what it was and we simply skipped breakfast on those days. If you're leaving early, you need to plan accordingly. The food they offered was very good - their coffee was particularly good!
Everyone at the hotel was very nice and helpful. It was very quiet and peaceful at night - no parties while we were there. The maintain a very clean pool which my family enjoyed. There's a wildlife sanctuary near the hotel - it's only a 2-min walk up the hill. I highly recommend if you're staying at this hotel."
