Hotel Best Mojácar

"For a large hotel that was fully booked, 1 bar is not enough. During the afternoon there were as many as 10 - 12 people in the line most of the time with only 2 staff on duty most days. Food in the dinning room was excellent but the time it took to get coffee in the morning was never less than 5-6 minutes, another machine would solve this issue. Overall great value for money, big rooms and comfortable beds, great walk in shower and very good maid service. Beware that you could end up parking a long way from the hotel when busy."

"I really enjoyed my solo week away with this hotel as my base to explore Mojacar and the surrounding area. It was a cheaper option to others so I was a bit worried, but I didn't need to be, I spent quite a few days by the poolside, much of it with only a few other people around sporadically. The area around the pool was excellent and very well maintained. Inside the bar/restaurant has a lovely open veranda area right on the beach, which was great. It was used for a christening and golf event a couple of times during the week but there were always other seating options inside and out. Breakfast was a good mix of continental buffet style with an option of sausage,bacon,egg & beans if desired. The few times I ate there there in the evenings the food was fantastic, especially the fish and chips! The room whilst basic had everything I needed; a free safe, air con & a large fridge. (The air con & fridge were quite noisy when on but that's why I travel with ear plugs!) The lady doing the breakfasts was fantastic all week, providing lovely coffee and service, even allowing me to get a continental breakfast before the 8am opening time as my bus was at 7.45am. If my travels take me back to the area again I'd certainly book here once more!"

"We enjoyed our 6-night stay at this unique hotel and city. The hotel is somewhat dated, but they do a great job at keeping it clean. Our room was mopped and tidied every day (5 stars for that!). We opted only for the buffet breakfast, which was excellent - included an omelet station, fruits, fresh breads, cheeses, meats, any kind of coffee/espresso/cappuccino, prosecco, and more. Highly recommend taking this option. The hotel is right on the beach and there are several restaurant options on the beach and the street in front of the hotel...all are clothing optional. The hotel requires clothing between 8PM and 8AM...but I accessed the gym with no issues before 8AM. The gym is limited to one treadmill, so I had to get there early. The entertainment staff is terrific...great young kids. We recommend!"

"Great location and stayed as pet friendly, the only negative was the hotel itself did not allow our dog in any of their eating areas even the outdoor terraces. So we ate in one of the private businesses next to the hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay at Playazimbali Hotel. The hotel has a beautiful location right by the beach, with lovely views and a very relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the whole property was very well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the pool area, the beach and the overall peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice. What we liked most was the combination of the beautiful beachfront location, comfortable facilities and friendly service. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy a holiday. We would happily stay here again! 🌴☀️"

"Very nice hotel, a short drive to the playa de Vera beaches. I appreciated the breakfast that was included. It wasn't a buffet but you could choose from several things on the menu, all of which were very good. Room was nice and it had a little refrigerator. I'd highly recommend this hotel!"

"We booked this very last minute having been evacuated from our accommodation in Alfaix due to the wildfires. From arriving to leaving Eddie could not have been more helpful. The rooms, whilst not the most luxurious, were spotlessly clean with an excellent walk in shower/bathroom, fridge and very efficient air conditioning. It’s a bit of a trek up a steep slope from where we parked our car but the views from the roof terrace were worth it. Continental breakfast was good."
