It was a nice stay. We’d just come from Palm Cove, so it felt a little tired and busy in comparison. We liked the view of the river. We found the Esplanade very windy but maybe we were just unlucky? Cairns Harbourside Hotel
The location of this property on the water is very nice. The walk along the ocean is a great way to start the morning. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room was basic and a little dated. It was clean. It just needs to be updated.

Southern Cross Atrium Apartments
Property was perfect for us as we needed 2 connecting rooms. Property Manager was great as he was always there to help ordering a Cab when Ubers cancelled trips. Kids loved the option of 3 pools. Great aircon and fans in rooms. Would definatley stay again.

Overall great experience. Apartment was large and had its own big outdoor area with loungers and BBQ . Apartment 11. Quiet , aircon and fans . Well equipped kitchen .
