Perched on a hilltop with sweeping Mediterranean views, this charming medieval village invites exploration through narrow cobblestone streets and sun-drenched piazzas. Discover mining heritage at the Capoliveri Mining Museum before cycling Monte Calamita's trails or relaxing on the golden sands of Morcone and Straccoligno beaches.
Great accommodation in excellent location between Portoferraio and Porto Azzuro with nice views of the sea and mountains. We have stayed here a few times now but did note that it is not quite as well equipped as before with lack of tea towel, oven cloth but otherwise excellent

Very peaceful location set in a natural environment with nice views of the distant hills and sea. The hotel is well looked after and the staff are very helpful. Food was generally very nice. We had half board and enjoyed both breakfast and dinner.
En route to the local beach you have to cross a road with fast moving traffic so you need to be vigilant and on your toes. It would be great if a pedestrian crossing point was established here as it felt a bit intimidating trying to negotiate getting...

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, comfortable, nicely decorated and convenient. Bit basic but we only stayed one night so it was perfect as a stop over. Room fan was a godsend
