Search Cottages in Capracotta

This is an amazing site; a set of stone-built cottages expertly converted into hotel accommodation, and with the new pool, spa and dining areas beautifully architected. The location is peaceful and secluded, with amazing views. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was good (I opted for the "normal" restaurant rather than the gourmet one).

We booked an apartment for 2 nights. Valentina is lovely and the area has a beautiful vista. The apartment was quite austere, not very comfortable but spotlessly clean. The bed was quite uncomfortable and hard. It was not my choice to have a ground floor apartment and I was hoping for a room with a view. We were invited to stay with some friends on the 2nd night so left early. This is only my impression of the ground floor apartment and I would not choose to stay in that particular room again,...

A great hotel, with a mix of old style stone and all the modern comforts. The owner was superb, a real gentleman, with a good selection of books and maps to help you plan exploring and hiking in the local hills, meadows and gorges. The best breakfast, extremely generous selection and awesome coffee. Extremely highly recommended.

Everything was just perfect. Spa not huge but essential.

We had a great stay. Staff were welcoming and the room was clean and bright.

This is the second time I have used this hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff, food is excellent, a tranquil oasis with stunning views.

Stayed in the Iris for 6 nights and it was fantastic, upon arrival the front desk was more than helpful and the English they spoke was great. The room was very good with a very big walk in shower, breakfast was great with a wide range of cakes, buns along with cold meats, cheese, cereal and eggs and bacon upon asking. Tea, coffee and juices were also to hand. The staff throughout the stay were friendly and very helpful. What a great hotel this was and I would recommend this to anyone who's...

Fantastic ..... Certainly exceeded our expectations.

We stayed here on a road trip through Italy. Our host was the best host we had on the whole trip! She greeted us at the front door helped us park and gave us the full tour of the property. After that she gave us the most amazing list of places to go and see , we did them all and were blown away by the history the area has ! Our room was as big as our apartment back in the uk with everything we could ever wish for. The bed was comfy and the bathroom and whole property was sparkling clean. We...

Fantastic. Comfortable, clean, friendly. No english, but that's ok.

The hotel is very close to the sky resort Aremogna is about 8 min. drive,Roccaraso centre is about 2 min, drive. Hotel is a bit old, but the staff is very friendly , helpful and the rooms are basic, don't expect posh rooms. quality price is perfect and if you need to go for skiing is ideal. The hotel is very basic and very 60's is a but dated but very comfy.

Great stay, one double bed and sofa bed during the stay
