"The La Villa Consuls is a historic property and right in the hearts of Sarlat. Very spacious with high ceilings and beautiful wood floors. The kitchen and bath are a little dated but had every convenience and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return. Very courteous and approachable staff. "

"Nice little boutique hotel, centrally located at the beginning of the old city in Sarlat. Clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. Rooms are adequate in size and the AC works great. Service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is €19 pp and probably not worth it for a limited buffet, but you're paying for the convenience. "

"Beautiful property. Large room and bathroom. Modern in the annexe area. Great dining. Disappointed about the bed. Very hard and flat pillow so it was uncomfortable and we had multiple bugs in our room like crickets and beattles. Otherwise amazing place to stay and relax."

"Our room was in amongst renovated farm buildings, rustic on the outside but nice and well appointed inside. There was a pool. It was set in wooded hills a few miles from Sarlat. Peaceful and beautiful. The reception and restaurant were in a seperate building a couple of kilometers away. Access was by a one way system of narrow roads. The setup was unusual but enjoyable. We ate outdoors every evening and the cuisine was great. We would go again if visiting this area."
