It was on the bottom floor and we could sit out on the patio looking at the pond and listening to the relaxing sounds of the waterfall. The room was exceptionally clean. Bed was very comfortable...

"Top notch in every way. We’re so glad we chose this motel. It’s in a great location. The valet parking was so convenient with an app to request your car whenever you wanted it. The restaurant was good and nice atmosphere right on the water. Good entertainment in the lobby every evening. "

"My husband and I had the best 3 nights at Carmel Beach Hotel. What beautiful grounds, freshly painted, landscaping was so beautiful. Our room was spacious with a fireplace, hardwood floors, everything look updated and fresh. We have a nice bay window looking over the garden. We loved it! Our bed was so comfortable and the linens were high quality. The shuttle service to town was so incredible when we didn't want to walk. Close to the beach, fire pit and friendly staff. A+ GO AND STAY!!!"

"This is a charming spot, nestled near a stream. While an older property, it has been extremely well maintained. We had a studio cabin and although small, it met all of our needs, especially with a king size, comfortable bed. The heater in our cabin was… exuberant? The cabin definitely got warmer as the night went on, despite the setting. We made the mistake and left it on while we were out for a day and came back to 85°. So that was a lesson. To note, not all of the studio cabins are the same....

"The room we were originally given was right in the front of the hotel on a busy street and was very noisy. After a conversation with the front desk we changed to a nice quiet interior room. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. It was well stocked with many options for eat and drink. Be advised that they do charge for parking which is below the hotel."
